CarbFix in climate reporting project 'Bracing for Impact'

The 'Bracing for Impact' climate reporting project published a story on CarbFix on Nov 19th. The story describes how carbon storage is one of the most viable solutions for funneling heat-trapping gases out of the atmosphere and that basaltic rocks in Iceland and elsewhere around the globe could provide a vast and permanent geological burial ground for CO2 stored as rock.

The story furthermore discusses how the biggest hurdle for moving this concept further is not a technological one but rather a financial one as there is no economic incentive for companies to invest in CCS as there is no price on carbon emissions. Juerg Matter and Edda Aradottir were interviewed for the article.
