Katrín is a geologist and works both in the business team, as well as the research and development team. She manages feasibility studies for external partners, as well as participating in a diverse portfolio of R&D projects within the technology team. Katrín has worked with Carbfix since 2020 and did her PhD research at University of British Columbia in Canada in collaboration with Carbfix. Before coming to Carbfix, Katrín worked in volcanic research and monitoring in Mexico, and her most fun thing to do is looking at rocks.

Martin is the Head of Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) at Carbfix, where he leads a team developing and implementing MRV frameworks to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient carbon mineral storage while deepening understanding of the Carbfix technology. He holds a PhD in geochemistry and previously worked at the University of Iceland on the Carbfix2 project, advancing the use of seawater in the mineralization process and studying ongoing injections at Hellisheiði.

Brynjar is the manager of health, safety and environment at Carbfix, with the objective of ensuring we maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement in HSE performance. Brynjar has extensive experience in the field of HSE and has worked on five different continents for Rio Tinto.
