Climeworks featured in the New York Times

The Swiss company and partner in the CarbFix2 Horizon 2020 EU funded project was recently featured in the New York Times article "The Tiny Swiss Company That Thinks It Can Help Stop Climate Change" by Jon Gertner.

The article goes over the history of Climeworks and the progress it has made recently. E.g. the Zero Emission Plant next to Hellisheidi Geothermal Power Plant, the CO2 contract with Coca-Cola where Climeworks provides CO2 for the Valser sparkling water and the production of synthetic fuel.

It may now be that another gas — carbon dioxide (CO₂) — can be removed from the air for commercial purposes, and that its removal could have a profound effect on the future of humanity.”
