Prof. Siggi Gíslason receives the C.C. Patterson award

Prof. Sigurður (Siggi) Gíslason, the head of the scientific committee and one of the founding members of the CarbFix project, has been selected to receive the C.C. Patterson Award for his work on CarbFix and volcanic hazards. The C.C. Patterson Award are granted for "an innovative breakthrough of fundamental significance in environmental geochemistry, particularly in service of society, consisting of either a single outstanding contribution or a short series of papers published within the last decade."

The CarbFix team is of course very proud of Siggi and this great achievement for him and the whole project.
